Frank Turner announces album and tour details


FRANK Turner has announced details of his new album due out later this year.

Tape Deck Heart will be the the follow up to 2011's England Keep My Bones and will be released on April 22.

The former Million Dead frontman said: "I recorded the album with The Sleeping Souls and producer extraordinaire Rich Costey, and I’m pleased as punch with it.

"Some of you will know some of the songs from us playing them live, but there’s a whole bunch of new stuff on there as well. I hope you like it!"

As well as the standard album featuring 12 tracks, there will also be a deluxe edition featuring an additional six songs.

Turner will also be embarking on a tour taking in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham and London in April.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, January 25, but fans pre-ordering the new album via the official website can purchase tour tickets 48 hours before they go on general sale.
