Where are you from?

Lou is from the West Midlands and Fab from Devon.

Vices and Adulation

How would you describe yourselves?

Melodic metal indie artist with poetic female vocals.

Who are your main influences musically?

Lou: Def Leppard, Queen, Manic Street Preachers, Evanescence, Guns n Roses, Michael Jackson, Sara Mcclaughlin.

Fab: www.guitarwar.com (these talented musicians are off the hook) As an example just check out Resurrection Mary by Eric Glass. Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir and most recently a friend of mine’s band Xerath.

What do you hope to achieve in music?

Lou: To bring enjoyment to as many lives as possible - the way music has brought enjoyment to my life.

Fab: I want to hold my most coveted GuitarWar titles at the same time. I am currently eight finger tapping champ, but never held sweep picking champ long enough. It’s all fun music making to me :)

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?

Both: receiving over 13,000 likes in our first week on Facebook. (We formed in Jan 2013 and launched all sites on 4th Feb 2013.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?

Lou: The day we lost Lynn Upton my momma on Sep 15 2010 - Hearing *In the arms of the angels* at the funeral helped.

If you could choose just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why? 

I want to say our upcoming vocal single as it’s a step up in studio quality. But as that’s a few weeks away I'll say A Blazing Shroud.

Anything else you’d like to say about your band that I forgot to ask?

Peurile Peridot - our first album is fully instrumental. We have a new single being finalised with Lucy-May performing vocals and more on the way.
