TORONTO outfit Champion Lover are releasing their eponymous debut record on June 20th.
The band - Edward, James, William and Erik - told RealSoundsOK they play "noise-punk to make you want to get as fucked up as we do". They also promise the album is "pummeling".
They added: "Bands always talk about meeting in High School. We beat them by a decade - we met in grade four. Except for Erik, we met him later in our home town of Weston. But Weston is kind of a shit hole, so we're grateful we got out."
