How would you describe
yourselves and your music?
To describe ourselves,
it would be things like; best friends, brothers, fun loving, food devouring
people. To describe our music, I'd say it is indie rock with pop influences.
Who are your main
influences musically?
As a singer, my
favorites are John Newman, Sam Smith, Adam Levine, and Ryan Tedder. The band
itself takes influence from Young the Giant, Onerepublic, Band of Horses, and
Magic Man.
What do you hope to
achieve in music?
We all basically want
the same thing and that is to travel the world playing and recording music for
those that want to hear it. I want to find success in music and help others
reach their goals as well.
What has been the
highlight of your career so far, and why?
We recorded our debut
EP, Said and Done this past November and it was an amazing experience to put
everything we had into five songs that we loved.
And what’s the moment you
want to forget?
None so far,
fortunately!
If you had to pick just
one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
Stuck, and because it
shows the power of the band musically. It encompasses awesome drumming,
thunderous bass, and layered guitar that takes forefront and my vocals lay on
top near perfect in the song. Plus, lyrically, it speaks of depression, a thing
that needs to be spoken about more openly and looked into.
