PURPLE Hill will release their album Top 40 Radio Memory Dream (Oh Yeah!) on February 27th.Ahead of that, they have given us a video for the Americana-tinged track Six String All To My Heart.
Owen Marchildon has been in touch to tell RealSoundsOK about his musical journey and the music he's creating now.
He said: "For the past 11 years I've been hovering silently in the subconscious of the Toronto music scene; writing and recording first with From Fiction, then releasing eight full-length and one EP under three different monikers - the latest being Purple Hill.
"The video for Six String All To My Heart is like the song itself; stripped down to the bare essentials revealing only what is needed.
"Under the direction of videographer Martin McNenly, we were able to create a simple but effective capture of our energy, sound and aesthetic that we hope you will enjoy."
The album was recorded live at Nassau Studios under the guidance on Jeff McMurrich.
