CALIFORNIAN rockers Haster have recorded a 16-track of their next full-length - but are now asking fans to help them put the record out.
The band from Orange County have signed up to Kickstarter in a bid to get donations to help them cover the expense.
As they explain: "We have chosen to go the independent route so that our creativity is not clouded by the judgement of anyone we don't trust and associate ourselves with.
"The downside to this path is the initial expense. We pay out of pocket for studio time and CD packaging. The moment we broke out the champagne to celebrate the album's completion, we also broke our band accounts."
Haster are looking to raise $5,000 and fans who contribute will receive special freebies in return.
