from?
I was born on the road and will probably die in transit. Right
now, I'm hiding out in the Blackdown Hills and mounting occasional hit and run raids
on street fairs and festivals.

Bottle Top Boogie Band
Who else is in
your band?
Twig, Kev the Rev, and whichever drummer
we can lay our hands on.
How would you
describe yourselves?
Shambolic. We sound like three cats
fighting in a sack. Come to think of it, we look a bit like that as
well.
Who are your
main influences musically?
Noah Lewis, Eddie Kelly's Washboard Band,
Bo Diddley, various musical misfits from the last 100 years or so.
What do you hope
to achieve in music?
Getting through a song without hitting a bum
note.
What has been
the highlight of your career so far, and why?
Career?
And what’s the
moment you want to forget?
The time it rained on our instruments and
the cardboard box bass went all soggy.
If you had to
pick just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
Bottle up and
go. Cos Leadbelly made it. John Lee Hooker mashed
it. And we murdered it. But it still sounds great!
