Who are your main influences musically?
We were born in the 80s, influenced by the 90s, bored by the 00s and here we are! We blend all of the above into our sound.

What do you hope to achieve in music?

What has been the highlight of your career
so far, and why?
Getting played by Steve Lamacq was ace. I was in the cinema and had four missed calls (one from each of the other members) saying we had been played. We have since been played by Tom Robinson on BBC6 and also on our local BBC shows by Alan Raw. Other than radio play - the best thing always is the five of us being on stage. We love to play.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?
When we filmed our first video, we were in a deserted warehouse that we'd found a route into with our camera crew. We spent two days filming in there with a mannequin in the background shots. As we left the police arrived and Ben our bass player walked around the corner with two legs (manequin) sticking out of a bin bag... The police called for back up and lined us up against a wall! - The video is for our song 'Begin' can be seen on our website www.apollojunction.com

If you could choose one of your songs as an
advert for your music, what would it be and why?
'Here Come The Zombies' is a bass and drums heavy, synth led guitar riff of a song with dark pop lyrics about the modern day pop music scene. It is fair to say - modern pop mostly doesn't impress us.

Where can we find out more about your music?
www.apollojunction.com - is our natural home. On it you can find us all on Facebook and Twitter etc. We are a talkative band so people can always say hi. Or we can be contacted on Matt our guitarist’s mobile number which is 079734.... wait sorry, he says he isn't comfortable with me giving this out.... strange of him?
