Well it's hard to describe yourself but we liked this description: Changing Horses are a veritable curiosity shop...a place where Kate Bush serves behind the counter, The Incredible String Band stock the shelves, then add David Byrne sweeping up and you've got a fair idea."

Who are your
main influences musically?
Again, it's difficult to describe where our influences come from because there are so many and it's a subconscious thing really. We listen to an awful lot of varied music so there is classical influence in there, folk influences (some notable ones being the incredible string band, Fairport Convention..etc), metal, nu metal, classical, traditional Irish folk.... the list is endless.

What do
you hope to achieve in music?
To be able to leave our day jobs and make a living out of writing, recording and performing and leave behind a legacy of albums for people to enjoy.

What has
been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
Recording our EP 'The Nashville Sessions' in the States was very cool. We got to work with top session musicians and producers who also work for the likes of Emmylou Harris and Ben Folds.

We have made it through to the Grand Final of the Youbloom music awards with our song 'Cut all Strings'. It's a worldwide, online song competition that has had over 3000 entries and we have made it through several rounds over the course of 11 months to make it through to the final 8. The final consists of a vote-off which begins midnight 10th Dec to midnight 16th Dec. If we win we are going to record our debut album and anyone who votes will have their name put on the sleeve of the album and receive a free download of our EP 'THe Nashville Sessions' VOTE FOR US AThttp://www.youbloom.com/ybsc/entry/3058/
