Ed Lanouette.
Where are you from?
Connecticut, USA
Name of band:
King Whack.
Who else is in your band?
Rob Arnold and Tristan Arnold.
How would you describe yourselves?
Heavy groove
oriented rock with harmonized melodies.
Who are your main influences musically?
King's X, Alice
In Chains, Black Sabbath.
What do you hope to achieve in music?
We hope to
achieve an ultimate collection of songs/music to document our experiences that
we can be proud of.
What has been the highlight of your career so far, and
why?
Getting back together and writing music like we always should have. When KW split, conditions were frustrating. We had dreams and
goals, and life got in the way. But Rob and I realized, was that life gets in
the way! It's supposed to do that, it seasons the soul and if you're
connected to your music and love what you do, it comes out in your music.
And what’s the moment you want to forget?
I don't want to
forget anything. Your worst experiences are what makes you great
If you could choose just one of your songs to represent
your music, what would it be and why?
Angel. While KW has a much
heavier side Angel really shows off the bands song writing and groove. It
also touches on real life and hopefully points out how precious life really is.
Where can we listen to it?

Anything else you’d like to say about your band that I
forgot to ask?
Support the music you like by purchasing the music and
buying the shirts! We love our fans and want to perform for everyone of
them. People need to realize if you want to see their favorite bands live
it's not free! It takes money to tour and is NOT cheap! The
industry is what you (the fans) make of it.
