Alice In Chains and Airbourne join Sonisphere bill

SEVEN more acts have been added to the line-up for this year's Sonisphere festival.

Airbourne, Alice In Chains, Ghost, Gojira, Slayer, Karnivool and Mastodon will join headliners Metallica, Iron Maiden and The Prodigy in Hertfordshire, UK, in July.

AiC frontman William DuVall said: "We're very excited to be playing once again at Sonisphere, particularly as this year has us joining our long-time friends Metallica.

"It should be a fun ride for everyone, both on and off the stage."
