Message To Venus joy at Indiegogo campaign

ROCKERS Message To Venus have successfully completed a two-month Indiegogo campaign to help fund the release and promotion of debut album Victims & Villains.

The campaign generated more than $11,000 through fan support and means the album will be released in early 2015. Those who contributed will get an advance copy along with special perks including a limited-edition Message To Venus comic book.

John Feliciano, guitarist in the Miami-based outfit, told RealSoundsOK: "We're blown away by all the support we received through the Indiegogo campaign.

"Fans really embraced the new album and comic book projects. We can't thank everyone that contributed enough."

During the course of the campaign the band launched new track Hollow, which is now available on iTunes.

Vocalist/guitarist Jandre Nadal recently told Revolver: "Hollow is a track about living the life you want. Making your own choices as a person, not following a shadow of what someone wants for you."

Victims & Villains was recorded in the band's native San Juan, Puerto Rico, with producer Leo Alvarez.
