How would you describe yourselves and your music?
We are an alt-rock band that packs a punch, our live shows are energetic but
polished and we have a sound that, I feel, blends quite a lot of different
bands within the alt-rock genre together.
Who are your main influences musically?
Our musical influences span from a host of different bands and genres, I’m massively inspired by Biffy Clyro, Mallory Knox and Lower Than Atlantis. Gary is a big fan of Bloc Party and that shows in our music also. Danny enjoys his heavier music such as Trivium and Memphis May Fire. Ollie has influences drawn from pop punk, through to indie and acoustic artists. So it makes for a nice blend of sounds within our music.
What do you hope to achieve in music?
We want to get as far as possible with our band, our dream is to be able to wake up everyday and go to work in the band, not having to work a 9-5 to pay the bills and the band stay a hobby. Touring and releasing music is what we want to be doing for the rest of our lives.
What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
We’ve only been gigging since July so it’s been a very short amount of time, but in that time we have played gigs with Fearless Vampire Killers and Funeral For A Friend. We’re incredibly proud to be able to say that and we hope it can only get bigger in the near future.
And what's the moment you want to forget?
We don’t really want to forget anything we do in this band, be it good or bad. You learn from things daily and if you don’t make mistakes you don’t progress in the same ways. I feel I speak for everyone in the band when I say we don’t regret anything we have done and we will continue that way.
If you had to pick just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
Miracles is probably the most all-round song to capture our overall sound, it’s not the heaviest track but it does capture the feel of our music, that’s mainly the reason we chose it as our first single.
Where can we listen to it?
