Debut EP from Memory In Plant

PSYCHEDLIC trio Memory In Plant have released their debut EP An Epic Triumph.

The EP was self-produced by the Tel Aviv outfit in their home studios and includes the singles This Love, Shame On Me and Eyes Up.

Imri Cohen from the band told RealSoundsOK: "All three of us are musical producers and really love to experiment with different forms of music.

"Our lyrics consist with elements of space and time, with the additional human planting here and there and the music is influenced by experimental, psychedelic, electronic and progressive rock.

New single from Memory In Plant

ISRAELI outfit Memory In Plant have released Eyes Up, the second single taken from their forthcoming album An Epic Triumph.

The band - Yehiel Hamou, Chen Firsel and Imri Cohen - told RealSoundsOK: "Eyes Up is an upper pill that will give you a brief moment to breathe and then take you out for a long high-pace run.

"Out music is influenced by experimental, psychedelic, electronic and progressive rock. Our lyrics consist with elements of space and time with the additional human planting here and there.

"The structure of our songs is experimental and non-traditional and was influenced by our special recording methods."

Solo outing from Chen Firsel

SCNDS is the first album by Israeli musician Chen Firsel.

The guitar rock artist - based in Tel Aviv - started writing music as a teenager, but things have turned serious in the past few years.

He told RealSoundsOK: "My first album has eight songs that I have recorded by myself with the goal to self-produce and play all the instruments."

Where are you from?

Tel Aviv, Israel.

Who is in your band?

Imri Cohen, Yehiel Hamou and Chen Firsel.

How would you describe yourselves?

We're a free mind spirit psychedelic rock band that are on the break of a heart attack!

Who are your main influences musically?

We don't have a particular one, we get our influence by listening to all kind of artists from various genres.

What do you hope to achieve in music?

We hope to reach out as many people we can.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?

Actually we are just getting this band on its feet and mainly focusing on finishing our debut EP. The process itself so far was a great highlight .

And what’s the moment you want to forget?

None.

If you had to pick just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?

Well, that's a hard one. Our songs are very different from each other, so in the meantime we'll choose our first single "Aging Souls" as our presenter.

Anything else you’d like to say about your band/music that I forgot to ask?

We're doing everything on our own. It starts from writing the lyrics and music, Then performing the song and recording it on our home studio and then mixing & mastering it as well. A true Indie! 

Israeli rock trio Memory In Plant deliver debut single

AGING Souls is the first single from Israeli rock band Memory In Plant.

The band was formed just last year in Tel Aviv and member Imri Cohen told RealSoundsOK: "Aging Souls is about memories and flashbacks. It starts soft and easy listening and accelerates to a high-tempo gallop.

"Our sounds consist with extreme layers music. The music is influenced by experimental, psychedelic, electronic and progressive rock.

The lyrics consist with elements of space and time, with the additional human planting here and there. The songs structure is experimental and non­-traditional and was influenced by our special record methods."
