Single on the way from Jaws

BRIT upstarts Jaws will release new single Be Slowly on July 7th.

It is the first single taken from the album of the same name, which is due out on September 15th.

The album follows a year that has seen the Birmingham, UK, five-piece release their Milkshake EP and garner widespread support from those in the industry.

Jaws have a number of summer festivals lined up and will embark on a UK headline tour in September to coincide with the album launch.

Jaws head out on UK tour

JAWS are heading out on a headline UK tour in September in support of their recent sold-out Milkshake EP and upcoming single Gold.

The past year year has seen the young Birmingham four-piece churn out a steady stream of singles including Donut, Surround You, Friend Like You and Stay In.

The two takes in Banbury, York, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Leicester, Birmingham and London for those aged 14+ and there are all ages gigs in Portsmouth and Basingstoke.

Jaws back with a new track

JAWS are back with new single Gold.
 
The past year has seen the young Birmingham four-piece churn out a steady and impressive output of hook-laden and immersive hazy garage pop, from singles ‘Donut’ and ‘Surround You’ to ‘Friend Like You’ and ‘Stay In’.

Jaws unveil video for Friend Like You

BIRMINGHAM four piece JAWS have unveiled the video for their new single Friend Like You.

The track is part of an EP bumper release 'Milkshake' collating the band's previous singles and featuring other new track 'Breeze', released April 22nd on Rattlepop. 

The video features a travel log collage of the bands recent shows and UK tour. 

Ending 2012 on a high note with the success of their singles 'Toucan Surf' and 'Surround You' that were accompanied by a flurry of accolades for their lush and intelligent garage pop, JAWS entered the year with four sold out shows across the UK.

FRIEND Like You is the new single from Birmingham four-piece Jaws.

Along with b-side Breeze, the single is included in an accompanying bumper EP release titled Milkshake, which rounds up the band's previous singles and is released on April 22.

Jaws are lined up to play Camp Bestival, Bestival and Beacons festivals this summer.
