Unsigned Military Arcade release concept album

UNSIGNED three-piece Military Arcade have released their debut album Revolution Is Imminent.

Composed as a concept album, it tells the story of a group of characters from different backgrounds who find themselves in a collapsing society and seek refuge in the Army.  

Lyrics cover a wide range of current issues such as recession, drug use and war, as well as giving a voice to the general feeling of futility and alienation that their generation feel as a result.

The band from Newbury, in Berkshire, England, have been together for around 18 months, and won Best Live Act at the UK Exposure Music Awards 2012, which led to a performance at the European arm of the awards in Belgium.

The album is supported by the single Why We Fight, which can be heard below.

Newbury. West Berkshire

Who else is in your band?

Ashley Miles (guitar) and Tom Hutchings (drums).

How would you describe yourselves?

Energetic, a unique blend of prog rock punk and blues.

Who are your main influences musically?

Big Country, The Alarm, U2, Muse and Nirvana.

What do you hope to achieve in music?

Maximum exposure. Sell out tours for years to come.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?

Winning an award for best live band 2012 at exposure music awards because we went from being a band to a credible, award-winning band.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?

I already forgot!!
