Your
name:
Silas
Hite.
Where
are you from?
Los
Angeles, CA.
Name
of band:
Hellbeast
of the Night.
Who
else is in your band?
Our
live lineup includes myself on guitar and vocals, Lisa McIntyre-Hite
on vocals and bass, Dusty Schaller on drums and George Reichart on
keys. Our album and EP feature drummers Jeff Friedl (Pucifer, Devo,
Filter, A Perfect Circle, Ashes Divide, CSS) and Chris Fugitt
(Totimoshi).
How
would you describe yourselves?
Good
music for late nights and bad choices. Sexy rock n' roll.
Who
are your main influences musically?
The
Dead Weather, The Black Keys, QOTSA, The Kills, Jack White.
What
do you hope to achieve in music?
Enough
interest to encourage us to keep making records! We probably will
anyway, but it is nice to know people are connecting with it.
What
has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
We
are still a relatively new band, so finishing our first full-length
album has been our biggest highlight.
And
what’s the moment you want to forget?
Losing
our first drummers, Jeff and Chris, to new ventures. Rebuilding is a
slow process!
If
you could choose one of your songs as an advert for your music, what
would it be and why?
I
Do What I Want - it's' a good motto to live by.
Where
can we listen to it?
Where
can we find out more about your music?
Anything
else you’d like to say about your band that I forgot to ask?
We
want to play England!
