The Loaded Q&A

Your name:
Paul Quinn.

Where are you from?
Coventry, England.

Name of band:
The Loaded.

Who else is in your band?
Jon Harte plays lead guitar, Jez Hanley plays bass and Dave Emery plays drums. I am the lead singer/guitarist.

How would you describe yourselves?
The Loaded are four best friends that come together once a week to write powerful songs and produce one of the best live, energetic live sets on the unsigned scene.

Who are your main influences musically?
Our main influences stem from each band member and they are The Manic street preachers, U2, Pink Floyd and Primal Scream.

What do you hope to achieve in music?
We would like to take the band as far as we can and get as much exposure on the way. We are very confident in what we do and would like as many people possible to hear what we write, record and play live.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
Supporting one of our big home town bands The Selector is right up there.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?
Dave and his family have really been through a lot on a personal level. The lyrics to our song Scared to fall define this. It's not a moment we can ever forget but a moment we can all pull strength from.

If you could choose one of your songs as an advert for your music, what would it be and why?
Keep your distance has become the bands anthem and just shows the direction we are going and writing those type of songs.

Where can we listen to it?

Where can we find out more about your music?

Anything else you’d like to say about your band that I forgot to ask?
The Loaded support Balls to cancer who are the bands adopted charity.
