How would you
describe yourselves?
We are a bunch of guys from varying musical
backgrounds. We take in these different influences, melt them, mash them
together and we don't forget to enjoy the creative process while doing
this
Who are your main influences
musically?
We have a ton so I will go with genres here; 70s rock, psychedelic,
early metal, indie, film scores and a healthy dose of quality pop.
What do you hope to
achieve in music?
We want to create good sounds that
get people's attention and make them tap their feet and bob their heads when
listening to our music.
What has been the
highlight of your career so far, and why?
Playing more than two people.
And what’s the
moment you want to forget?
Playing for two people ;-)
If you could choose
just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
It would be El Padre or Mathematics of War because they have the major
ingredients that we are looking for in our music such as being explosive-like
as well as showing different sides of the band with mellow keyboard passages or
acoustic-y sounds.
Where can we listen to it?
You can listen to El Padre as well as all other songs from our EP on our
FaceBook page :

Anything else you’d
like to say about your band that I forgot to ask?
It is really tough times for everybody not only in USA but across the
globe. So, I understand people have priorities. and they don't want to pay
couple of dollars for independent musicians music when it takes hundreds of
dollars to record them when they can pay top dollar for things that they
possible won't ever use or wear but without your help, local music cannot and
will not survive. Remember, all of those big names you see on TV were local
artists once.
So please do your best and support your local artists, this includes all
forms of art. Show up on their gigs, buy a CD, a t-shirt, buy their art.
We can only get better "together", not alone.
Thanks for the opportunity and check Happy Thieves in Paradise on the
web, give us a listen, give us a feedback. Let us know what you think.
