Your name:
Justin E
Percival.
Where are you from?
Bristol, UK.
Name of band:
Mind Museum.
Who else is in your band?
Will Slater
(guitar) and Chas Bacon (drums).
How would you describe yourselves?
We like to
think our music is a bit different and has a unique sound, we mix quiet
and loud, pop and heavy rock with urgent guitars and emotional wrought
vocals.
Who are your main influences musically?
Biffy
Clyro, Muse, Coheed and Cambria, The Cure, Rush, Circa Survive, Placebo,
Sabbath.
What do you hope to achieve in music?
We still
feel like we are only just starting out and this is the beginning of something
very exciting, our hopes for the future include playing in loads of cities
across the world... to play all of the festivals - Sonisphere,
Download and Reading and release a lot of music. We would love for the band to
become self-sustaining so we could quit our 9-5 jobs.
What has been the highlight of your career so far,
and why?
We have played across the UK with some great
bands including Young Guns, Twin Atlantic, The King Blues and The Royal Republic.
We have self-released two EPs and made a couple of music videos that have
been played on national and International TV. Every month that goes by we seem to be moving up the ladder step by step
and building up a loyal following - We’re really proud of everything
we’ve achieved so far.
And what’s the moment you want to
forget?
Nothing -
Good and bad it’s all relative.
If you could choose just one of your songs to
represent your music, what would it be and why?
The Get Go. It
showcases our different influences and styles ranging from punk, metal, rock
and pop and it’s also a FREE download.
Where can we listen to it?
Where can we find out more about your music?
Anything else you’d like to say about your band
that I forgot to ask?
We might be quite possibly your New Favourite
Band….
