Providence, Rhode Island, USA

Who is in your band?
Mike D - vocals.
Beef (Stew) - guitar.
Chewy (Sam) - bass.

How would you describe yourselves?
Rhode Island Hardcore

Who are your main influences musically?
Hatebreed, Killing Joke, Pantera, Dream Theater, Meshuggah, Mega-Deth.

What do you hope to achieve in music?
Recognition and respect for our product.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
Our highlights has been having the opportunity to share the stage with some of the best bands in the local or national scene.  We have been lucky enough to play with bands like: The Empire Shall Fall (Jesse Leach from Killswitch Engage is the vocalist), Acaro, Thy Will Be Done, Dead By Wednesday, Landmine Marathon, Swarm of Eyes, Train of Thought, Hope Before The Fall, Murdoc. We also had the Opportunity to play some BIG stages like: The Met in Pawtucket RI, Shea Theater in Turner Falls Ma, The Ruins at The Coliseum in Providence RI, Webster Theater (main stage) in Hartford Ct. Oh yea, we did all this in our first year as a band.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?
There isn’t any moment we would like to forget. Every show is fun and full of HIGH ENERGY. We learn from every show we play.

If you could choose just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
We have made ourselves a pretty decent sized catalogue of songs in the past year. But of all our songs, I think Clocktowers has remained a band favorite. There is energy and sound coming out of that song we think truly captures the core of Mechanical Process’s music.

Where can we listen to it?

Where can we find out more about your music?

Anything else you’d like to say about your band that I forgot to ask?
Mechanical Process's music is designed to entertain the mind Mechanically through
Progressive Death-Core (a fusion genre that combines elements of death metal with elements of metal-core or hardcore punk).
