INDEPENDENT artist Kiirstin Marilyn has released her new single The Struggle.
The New Yorker - who cites influences from Gwen Stefani to Glassjaw to Justin Timberlake to The Beatles - says she is trying to find a "happy marriage" between rock and pop.
In fact Glassjaw founding member Todd Weinstock worked on her debut solo EP The Bitter End, released in March 2012.
