Where are you from? 
Walsall, England.

Name of band: 
The Assist.

Who else is in your band?
Jak Baker, Ben Faulkner and Mikey Stanton.

How would you describe yourselves?
Real music with honest, hard hitting lyrics that speak for themselves. It’s music that anyone can identify with from sing along anthems to their infectious guitar riffs. 

Who are your main influences musically?
Our main influences have to be Liam Gallagher, the Stone Roses and The Arctic Monkeys

What do you hope to achieve in music?
Our main ambition is to secure a deal to release an album that would be a dream come true.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
Our highlight has to be the success of our track ‘Control’, which lead to a headline gig at the O2 Academy 3 in Birmingham.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?
None. Have no regrets in music. Every gig is good for you in some way even if its playing to one person that one person could become your biggest fan.

If you had to pick just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
Control. Have a listen, it’s just in your face and the exact sound we’re going for.
