Monuments give taste of the album to come

MONUMENTS have released new track I, The Creator from their forthcoming album The Amanuensis, due out on June 23rd.

The Londoners are currently touring Germany (and a date in Belgium), followed by UK gigs including Download Festival before heading off to Europe again - this time with Protest The Hero.

The title for The Amanuensis - the follow-up to 2012's Gnosis - is inspired by David Mitchell novel Cloud Atlas. And the album is set to be just as complex.

Guitarist John Browne said: "The album is about the Samsara cycle. The cyclical existence of life that we are all bound to."
