Who else is in your band?

We have had a lot of our friends come play with us but essentially it's the two of us who write the music.

How would you describe yourselves?

We describe ourselves as genre bending... We are a little mix of everything rootsy with rock and pop.

Who are your main influences musically?

Desiree: a lot of Blues artists... Buddy Guy being number 1,and Neil Young, Van Morrison, Genesis, Fleetwood Mac, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Annie Lenox, Bonnie Raitt, Mark Knophler, Willie Nelson, Ella Fitzgerald, disco!!! George Clinton, OMD, Bronski Beat, The Civil Wars.

Mike: Wilco, Motown (Stax) Country, Metallica,Wes Montgomery, Fleet Foxes, Beatles,

What do you hope to achieve in music?

Use it as a way to express ourselves and make people happy in the process.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?

Being on Relix magazine's CD sampler with Alabama Shakes and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. Also being licensed by several TV shows.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?

Nothing... We try to walk away from everything with good vibes and a positive spin.

If you could choose just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?

Waiting because it’s a good overall representation of our sound.
