Kill For Eden Q&A

Your name:
Dave Bown, Guitarist.

Where are you from?
London, England.

Name of band:
Kill For Eden

Who else is in your band?
Lyla D'Souza - Lead Vocals, Mike McGuinness - Bass, Andrea Basiola - Guitars, Alex Loubser - Drums

How would you describe yourselves?
A melodic hard rock band.

Who are your main influences musically?
We take our influences from the The Cult’s solid riffs, Blondie’s instant melody and Garbage‘s contemporary mix of pop hooks and rebel attitude.

What do you hope to achieve in music?
We'd like mega platinum success, failing that then legendary superstardom.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
My highlight was playing to 20,000 people a night on a tour supporting Joe Cocker in Germany.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?
Pushing a van in the mud backstage at a waterlogged festival.

If you could choose just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
'Beige' is a good example of our manifesto of defiance.

Where can we listen to it?

Where can we find out more about your music?

Anything else you’d like to say about your band that I forgot to ask?
We're releasing our debut album on May 6th and it will be available from our website and all the usual online sites such as iTunes and Amazon etc. The single Kerosene has been remixed at Principal Studios, Germany which is famous for productions such as Die Toten Hosen ‘Ballast der Republik’ and the H-Blockx amongst many others.
