Analogue Wave Q&A

Your name:
My name is Del Chaney.

Where are you from?
Dublin, Ireland.

Band name:
Analogue Wave.

Who is in your band?
I'm the vocalist/songwriter/guitarist/producer.
Andy Sneyd(Dj Gint) is songwriter/bass player/producer/programmer.

How would you describe yourselves?
An electronic duo twisting dub with guitars, samples, synths and breakbeats.

Who are your influences musically?
Everything from blues to techno.

What do you hope to achieve in music?
Write, record, produce and release our debut album ourselves and promote it accordingly. Anything after that is a bonus to be honest.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
We released our debut single Fingers in March and so far it has seen airplay on three major Irish radio stations, BBC Ulster and both Dutch and German stations. For us, it has gone above and beyond our expectations. When we were both younger, we used to sit and listen to Dave Fanning's radio show on an Irish station called 2FM because he played the best music. He played Fingers on his show and we were blown away. Every day brings us new highs.

And what's the moment you want to forget?
Wasting four years in our previous band with nothing to show for it.

If you could choose one song to represent your music, what would it be and why?
Wow! That's a difficult question. It would probably have to be Fingers because of how well it's done over the past three weeks or so, especially since it was put to the members of our previous band and turned down. Either that or Narko Dub.

Where can we listen to it?

Where can we find out more about your music?
