On 'Til Morning Q&A

Your name(s):
Sara Meyer, Cory Hopkins, Andy Bowen, Stephen Ousley, and Whit Maxey

Where are you from?

Atlanta, Georgia.

Name of band:
On 'Til Morning

How would you describe yourselves?
We are a female-led alternative rock band. We're most often compared as a girl-singer version of 30 Seconds to Mars. But people also suggest we sound like Paramore, Flyleaf, and Evanesence.

Who are your main influences musically?
Honestly if we started naming them, the list probably wouldn't end! We are definitely influenced by The Foo Fighters, Paramore, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Flyleaf, but then we also pull influence from Imogen Heap, The Civil Wars, A Fine Frenzy, Bush, Mute Math, KT Tunstall, Led Zeppelin...so it's kind of all over the map.

What do you hope to achieve in music?
We just want to do this as long as we can. We want to make more records. We want to tour. We want to get our music to as many people as possible.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
So far, the biggest thing would have to be the Kickstarter project we did from Sept-Oct 2013. We set a goal to get $10,000 to release our EP the right way (merch, print CDs, make a music video, etc) and it completely blew our minds that the end total was $11,370! Just crazy.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?
Not sure there is one yet! We've all got enough of a sense of humor to brush off anything that could be potentially embarrassing or awkward on our part.

If you had to pick just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
Probably Atomic Bomb. It's anthemic, kinda heavy, yet it's fun. It has synth elements that can be found throughout our EP, and sound-wise it's definitely at the center of what we want to keep writing.

Where can we listen to it?
