PROG metal band The Sun Explodes will release their new EP The Calm, The Storm on May 18th.The five-track record follows the Carlisle quintet's 2013 album We Build Mountains.
Frontman Dave Maclachlan told RealSoundsOK: "Expect some big hooky chorus, the occasional techy riff and plenty of self-indulgent grandiose.
"Remember when you had some good food and you were all like, 'F***ing hell, this is so good. Why doesn't all food taste this good?'. That's us, but we're a band, not food."
