Wilfy Williams Q&A

Your name:
Wilfy Williams.

Where are you from?
Born and raised in Portsmouth now live and love London.

How would you describe yourself?
Instantly hummable and up-beat songs with memorable hook lines and anthemic choruses.

Who are your main influences musically?
John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Paul Wellar and Noel Gallagher.

What do you hope to achieve in music?
Masterpieces of art in sound.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
Supporting Mark Gardener from Ride and DJing at NGHFB aftershow party in Liverpool.

And what’s the moment you want to forget?
None. Every failure is a lesson. Need I quote Thomas Edison?

If you could choose just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
My song Nicola, because it has hidden depths. There is Jungian psychology, Campbellian mythology and Platonian philosophy all hidden in plain site aswell as an anthemic hook line.

Where can we listen to it?

Where can we find out more about your music?

Anything else you’d like to say about your band that I forgot to ask?
London Underground Busker by day, London Indie DJ by night.
"I liken myself to a seed when I'm on the underground. When the time and conditions are right, Im going to burst out of here into the limelight."
