Outlaw county
and redneck rock n roll.
Who are your main influences musically?
Waylon Jennings,
Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Hank Williams, The Allman Brothers Band, Johnny
Cash, Billy Joe Shaver, Merle Haggard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimmy Martin and The
Marshall Tucker Band.
What do you hope to achieve in music?
To reach as many
people as we can around the world with our stories, songs and jams.
What has been the highlight of your career so far,
and why?
Having our video for "Crazy Again" remain at #1 on the
Country Video Chart at www.yallwire.com for
a grand total of 54 weeks. The video and song were recorded on the 61st
Anniversary of Hank Williams' legendary recording session at Historic Herzog
Studio's in Cincinnati, OH. We recorded the Live Album "Hank To
Thank" standing in the very spot where Hank recorded 6 of his timeless
classics 61 years before. We were joined on the album and in the
"Crazy Again" video by our Godfather Jody Payne, famed guitarist for
Willie Nelson and Family.
And what’s the moment you want to forget?
I can't
really remember any. I reckon I already forgot 'em!
If you could choose just one of your songs to
represent your music, what would it be and why?
"Blessed Be The Bad
Ones" title track of our current album release on Sol Records. The
song encompasses elements of all of our influences stirred in together into one
big gumbo of Dallas Moore Band music and jams.
