Debut on way from Gaoler's Daughter

SOUTH London outfit Gaoler's Daughter will deliver their debut album later this year.

How To Make Time is out on August 26th and will be preceded by the single Cordelia a fortnight before.

The album was was fan-funded by a loyal collection of independent music bloggers and live music lovers who treasured the band's singles (released last year), which were
championed by the likes of Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy, Tom Robinson,
Mary Anne Hobbs, Tom Ravenscroft, Rich Walters and The Selector’s Goldierocks.

The success of these singles, and their growing live reputation, lead to a UK support tour with Babyshambles and slots with Graham Coxon and We Are Scientists, as well as several prestigious venues and festivals across the UK and Europe.

Gaoler's Daughter will be on the bill for the Festifeel festival - curated by Fern Cotton in aid of the Coppafeel charity - alongside the likes of Tribes, Gabrielle Aplin, Chloe Howl and The Milk. It takes place at Metalworks in Islington tomorrow.
