Steve Weston.
Where are you from?
Southend on Sea, Essex.
Name of band:
High/Low.
Who else is in your band?
Lee Yates - Bass Fuzz, Backing
Vocals
Neil Ross Gregory - Drums
(Live)
How would you describe yourselves?
90's alt grungy rock.
Who are your main influences musically?
Doves, early Foo
Fighters, Dinosaur Jr, Sugar, Feeder, Nirvana and much much more.
What do you hope to achieve in music?
To continue enjoying making,
recording and playing music.
What has been the highlight of your career so far, and
why?
There's
been too many! We have done so much in just a year, including making two music
videos with little knowledge, recording two EPs just as me and Lee was a
big achievement, and fact we
now have the chance to do an album is quite a big one too!
And what’s the moment you want to forget?
None, you gotta take the rough
with the smooth.
If you could choose just one of your songs to represent
your music, what would it be and why?
When we have asked our fans
which is their favourite tracks off the two EPs, we get such a varied response! My personal choice would be 'SPY EYE' - It shows we like things Fuzzy,
driving, melodic, and a little goony!
Where can we listen to it?
www.wearehighlow.bandcamp.com is where you can find both EPs plus two unreleased songs for a £1 or 'Pay What You Like'.
Where can we find out more about your music?
Anything else you’d like to say about your band that I
forgot to ask?
Do you like Cheesecake?
