Who else is in your band ?
Just the two of us...
How would you describe yourselves?
100% certified independent dreamy alternative indie rock... or if The XX, Crissie Hynde, My Bloody Valentine and The Cure started a
side project.
Who are your main influences musically?
A wide spectrum really... From Ella Fitzgerald to
Siouxsie & The Banshees to Muddy Waters to The Flaming Lips. We love a lot
of music that is very different from what we write.
What do you hope to achieve in music?
Inner peace... We could say we want to rule the
world and all that, but in the end, we just want to make music we love.
If we're still doing that 10 or 20 years from now, then we'll be very happy.
What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
To us, our career as a band is just beginning so...
right now the creative process is where we feel the most complete. Every
time we write together it's like a musical adventure that goes deeper into the
"Open Feel" world we have created. We love being in that world.
And what's the moment you want to forget?
Probably our first show... Katie was wearing these
amazing sparkly boots and about 5 minutes before we played she ate shit when
she missed a step down walking in the dark-lit club... Ankle sprain
ensued and a brief moment of "Damn that hurts!", but she pulled
herself together and put on a great show anyway! So even the moments you
want to forget can become triumphs in the end...
If you could choose just one of your songs to represent
your music, what would it be and why?
"Kiss, Kill (Back to Love)". It's heavy AND
dreamy. This song has a perfect balance of both. The next song slated for
release is also a great journey into the world of The Open Feel... Stay
tuned :)

We have another new song coming out in early June. This one is called Pushing Back. We'll also have a video for it... We're very excited about this one! Can't wait to share it with everyone!
