Bristol town is our collective home.

Ashestoangels.
Who else is in
your band?
Jim (drums), Nico (bass) and Adam (guitar).
How would you
describe yourselves?
Synthy goth punk.
Who are your
main influences musically?
We all like a lot of different bands but I'm the
one with they keyboard here haha. I think we sound a bit like a mix of
The Misfits, Aiden, AFI, Alkaline Trio, My Passion and Vex Red. But we
never set out to sound like anyone really... Just play fast songs as hard as we
can.
What do you hope
to achieve in music?
Being able to play good shows to good people every
night. Playing live is the best thing. We have the best fans and it's amazing
getting to meet them.
What has been
the highlight of your career so far, and why?
The tour we are on right now is pretty excellent.
Seems like everything is coming together and all the hard work is paying off. Of course we all have some heinous lung illness but that's just par for
the course I suppose.
And what’s the
moment you want to forget?
We've tried our hardest to learn from all our
mistakes and the shitty things that have happened to us. It's been a long time
since we've had any fully cringeworthy disasters, so maybe we've managed to
forget them!
If you were
asked to pick just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be
and why?
That would be difficult. There are a couple of
sides to the band and you can't really get a full idea of what we are about
with only one song but I'm really enjoying playing Dorian on this tour.
