The Dirty Nil make a plea for you to listen

CANADIAN rock n roll trio The Dirty Nil have released a summer mixtape of covers.

The group from Dundas, Ontario, dropped RealSoundsOK an email to introduce it and their words are much more persuasive than mine, so here they are.

"It’s volume two, in a 25 volume series. After 25, one of us will die.

"We also have a new video. It features people trying to kill us! Now the email has a theme! Death! Our Death! Look!

"The Dirty Nil deserve to die because we’re too drunk, we’re out of catchy nicknames for Kyle, nobody wants to hear our experimental prog phase, too beautiful to live, Luke wore the same shirt for two years straight, we’re basically just a wedding cover band now, we hate everybody, because we slept with your sister, The Replacements are back together so nobody needs another band of drunk assholes, blood sacrifice, and so no one ever sees Dave without his moustache.

"Listen to “Summer Mix-Tape Vol. 2: Covers” at a motherfucking loud volume. Free until the summer ends. Then it goes away forever! Featuring songs by The Misfits, Iggy Pop, Guided By Voices, and Merle Haggard.

"Thanks for always being awesome! Luke, Dave, and Kyle (The Dirty Nil)."
