Where are you from?
Maceió - Alagoas, north east of Brazil.
Name of band:
Who else is in your band?
Felix Baigon (bass), Dinho Zampier (keyboards), Marco Túlio Souza (electric and acoustic guitars) and Leandro Amorim (drums).
How would you describe yourselves? Our music has no time or space. Our music is born from the union of acoustic and electronic elements - Electric guitar with transversal flute or synths with pure voice, with no "robot effects" or tuner...
Who are your main influences musically?Émilie Simon, Morcheeba, Camille, Sade and sure a lot of Brazilian musicians and composers who made the REAL Brazilian music like Tom Jobim, Djavan, Chico Buarque, Elis Regina and others.
What do you hope to achieve in music? We hope to spread our music all over the world, meeting new people and places, sharing experiences.
What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?Our two European tours (2012/2013), in which we made almost 20 concerts around France and Switzerland and we recorded our three official videoclips, and our release concert (April 2nd, 2014), 'cause we finally made a full concert with original songs only.
And what’s the moment you want to forget?Divina Supernova is five years old - we live exclusively by our musical work and we invest a lot on it ever since. A very bad moment was when we paid a musical producer to edit and distribute our CD through his label and he "disappeared" with the money.
If you had to pick just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?Oh, that's hard to choose! We may pick "O Texto, o Conto e o Canto" - this songs doesn't have all the elements of our music, but it opens the CD with an air of joy and makes you want to dance. :)
Where can we listen to it?You can listen to our full album on our Youtube channel!

Anything else you’d like to say that I forgot to ask?Our first CD is called "Pulsares" and was produced independently. It was mixed by Júnior Bocão and mastered by Frank Arkwight in Abbey Road Studios. This year we'll make our third tour - the first American tour in July 2014! We already have seven booked concerts in NY! That will be great. We're looking forward to this moment.
