The Feddens Q&A

Your name:
Peter Eason Daniels (vocals, guitar/synth).

Where are you from?
We're from Gloucestershire, England.

Name of band:
The Feddens.

Who else is in your band?
Joe Cairns (vocals/guitar), Holly Weyman (bass), Joe Loughlin (lead guitar) and Jack Cairns (drums).

How would you describe yourselves?
Jangley nerd pop.

Who are your main influences musically?
As in bands - I mean we all listen to loads of different stuff, but we don't necessarily sound like any of it, but it will all get put in the mixing bowl I guess. so... Foals, King Krule, The Cure, Peace, Arctic Monkeys, RHCP, but I'm listening to a lot of ambient chilled out stuff, like Mount Kimbie and Twin Empire etc which we sound nothing like!

What do you hope to achieve in music?
Play a load of shows, writing B-E-A-utiful music together, whilst Holly works on a bass face that would rival that chick from Haim.

What has been the highlight of your career so far, and why?
Underground fest last year, we played the BBC Introducing stage and we were in a massive shared dressing room with a load of bands my friends love. And there were like 600 people queuing outside at like 9 in the morning, that was cool. But when I was watching Peace, a huge bottle of Rubicon exploded in my bag, which wasn't as cool, but it did make all my stuff smell like mango..

And what’s the moment you want to forget?
We had this really bad pizza at band practice this one time, it tasted like greasy cardboard, and looked like it was made out of plasterboard. never getting that again...

If you could choose just one of your songs to represent your music, what would it be and why?
Umm i guess it would be our newest (recorded) song Semaphore. It's full of vibesss.

Where can we listen to it?

Where can we find out more about your music?
