TORONTO'S Navy Skies are back with a new EP after spending the past year touring, writing and honing their style of "aggressive indie rock".
The EP is called The New War and continues of the path of last year's Cut My Teeth 7".
Navy Skies told RealSoundsOK: "We channelled influences like Hot Water Music, the
Constantines, Get Up Kids, and the Weakerthans to help develop a sound that’s
familiar but still our own.
"These five songs are equal parts catchy
and sincere, fusing together infectious riffs with attentive
hooks to create a focused EP that we feel is the best music we’ve produced
yet."
Title track New War can be downloaded for FREE at navyskies.bandcamp.com where you can also pre-order a digital copy of the EP, which is due out on April 8th.
